It was originally called Unified File and Object or UFO.

For a while the plan was to rename it to Gluster for Swift or G4S.

Now the intent is to have an umbrella project called Gluster for 
OpenStack or G4O, of which the Swift part — G4S — will be one component.

They're all the same thing.
