[Gluster-users] Queries regarding CIFS

I am using a 3.0.5 version of Gluster storage platform. I have the following
queries:

   1. In the documentation for 3.1, I see that there will be an option to
   add users (username/password) when one selects
CIFS<http://gluster.com/community/documentation/index.php/Gluster_3.1:_Managing_Volume_Users>.
   How to do this in 3.0.5?
   2. Is there support for windows Domain controller which will handle all
   the user authentication it self?
   3. Is it recommended to upgrade to 3.1?
