Do You want do have raid0 like system?
I've tried this with gluster - 8 servers, each 750GB disks (80% full) ~ 5-6TB of data (many many medium/small size files).

"transport endpoint not connected" after few minutes of usage ;/

Does anyone use gluster in such combination? I've read that people use gluster for storing TBs of data.
