[Gluster-infra] Slow regression tests, likely due to lvm archives

Hi,

So I noticed this week that the regression were slow, and I am not the
only one (cf discussion on irc).

A quick strace/gstack verification show that's likely a slowness on
lvcreate, and given that:

# ls /etc/lvm/archive/ |wc -l
202293

I suspect there is a issue on that side.

I will dig in lvm doc if no one beat me to find the root cause first :)

I also remember that Jeff Darcy posted on "we need to change a value in
lvm.conf (LVM allocation settings, mail from 6th of april), so anyone
has more information about that ? (or if someone can ping Jeff for me)
