Hello,

One of the things we should improve on the Gluster site is the
download / installation instructions. Currently we have this:

 http://download.gluster.org/pub/gluster/glusterfs/

...which I guess is fine if you happen to know exactly what you
want, but not so great for everyone else.. ;^)

There is of course the quickstart and some other in-depth guides
and HOWTOs in the site, but I am thinking that we should have one
"here's what you need to try out GlusterFS" with a simple and easy
walkthrough. It should give you some knowledge, and it should select
the best allround options for you so you can get started without
hassle.

As a starter I cut & pasted and modified the quickstart to
get this: http://glustermm-tigert.rhcloud.com/download/

I need your help in determining whether this:

  1) makes sense
  2) does not contain any crazy errors
  3) works for most cases, and if it doesn't, we clearly
tell the reader of any possible caveats.
  4) could still be improved?

Since the original document featured just "fdisk /dev/sdb" I tried to
make this easier with the gparted command that takes the whole disk
for a partition. I am not 100% sure if this is correct either, we need
to test it.

Anyway, let me know if you find any issues or have good ideas on how
to improve the quickstart process?
