[Gluster-devel] Release 3.10.6: Preparing for the release on 30th-September 2017

Hi,

Here is a quick health check on 3.10.6 and also a request for any 
pending patches to be backported as needed (based on the backport 
guidelines [1]). If there are any identified blockers, mark them against 
the blocker bug [2].

Major issue to be addressed:
We still carry in our release notes the bug regarding rebalance/dht when 
sharding is enabled. As testing of the same has progressed by 
contributors, and we have no further updates from the users,

If so,

- @Nithya, can you revert the change referred to in 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1467010#c2

Other health checks:
1) Bugs dependent on the tracker bug are in MODIFIED state, so all 
tracked blockers are fixed [3].

2) Regression failures are not appearing in fstat from last release till 
now.

I will get started on preparing the release notes as required.
