Is it correct that gdeploy requires Ansible 2.1 or newer? Last week
I've had a discussion at the CentOS Interlock meeting with others about
getting Ansible provided by the CentOS CfgMgmt SIG. Their plan is to
provide distinct repositories for Ansible 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, with an
option to have something like ansible-2-latest.
At the moment I am thinking about how to structure new repositories that
can work with different versions of GlusterFS. A repository with
miscellaneous tools that do not have direct dependencies on a glusterfs
RPM might be most useful.
- depends on an unversioned centos-release-gluster
- contains packages like gdeploy
(makes the -tools repository depend on centos-release-ansible-2)
Heketi could well be part of this repository too. It runs on a system
that does not require Gluster packages to be installed.
What do you think, does this work for gdeploy?
