Yes, it does. The removal of qemu-block from the Gluster sources should
not affect the ability to use the gluster://volume/dir/image.qcow2 URLs
with QEMU. QEMU uses libgfapi for this (see block/gluster.c in the QEMU
sources if interested).

I would like to see the question there as well. We can send an other
confirmation about it. I am pretty confident that if one user has a
quesion like this, many others would like to know the answer too.
