This all works quite well now. However there is an issue with my
configuration related to "vnconfig -l". This command keeps on listing
vnd-devices, and never seems to end. I did not setup something special
for this, not sure if that is needed?

The following patch makes at least my tests run fine. Is that something
we could (or need to?) include?
