This issue seemed to be a different one. Noticed the following error in 
the logs:

org.eclipse.jgit.errors.ObjectWritingException: Unable to create new 
object:

Upon checking, I saw there were some permission problems on the 
glusterfs.git repository. I performed a recursive chown of glusterfs.git 
to review:gerrit2. It seems to be fixed now as a patch got merged after 
the chown.

I had to abandon a few patches before doing the recursive chown. 
Apologies for that. Please re-submit all abandoned patches and we'll 
ensure that they get merged on priority.
