RJ  once you have code working also let me suggest you spend time on creating a docker or vagrant environment for reproducing your deployments so it's easy for us to test and so that we can feedback into James shubins work efforts at making gluster systems easier to test with things like puppet-gluster and his F19 vagrant/gluster/puppet recipes..
