Hi Ioannis,
As someone else has suggested ensure you are trying with the same client
/server combination.
Also if you recently rebuild , make sure you have ran ldconfig or
equivalent , and you are actually running the newly build binaries
( I got caught out with the latest build putting the binaries in a
different location )

We are currently using server version 1.3.8-0.6 and client version
1.3.8-0.8. Do you think that updating to a newer version could solve the
issues below? If you need any further information, please do not
hesitate to ask for it.
