Details:

protocol between glusterfsd and brick (transport-socket) should be changed to
conform with
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gluster-devel/2006-08/msg00087.html
and implemented in libglusterfs (not in brick xlator) so that independant
tools may be written for communication  with glusterfsd
