--- Doc Text *updated* ---
Previously, when an application sent fsync on a shard file, shard translator did not send fsync on the modified shards causing a limitation. With the support of single-brick distributed shard volumes, a replicated translator is not needed on stack. Due to which, it is necessary that the shard translator sends fsync on modified shards to prevent data loss. This update fixes the shard translator in order to keep track of all shards associated with every file that were modified, and thus when the application sends fsync on the main file, fsync is also sent on other modified shards.
