--- Comment #1 from Niels de Vos <ndevos at redhat.com> ---
The GlusterFS 3.11 packages have been available on the buildlogs.centos.org
server for testing. Unfortunately nobody reported any test results, even though
several users and developers were planning to provide feedback. Only packages
that have had some testing (can be extremely minimal) will be marked for
syncing to the release repository on the mirrors.
With glusterfs-3.12 being close to release, there is little need to have
glusterfs-3.11 made available through the CentOS mirrors. 3.12 is together with
3.10 a Long-Term-Maintenance release, whereas 3.11 is a Short-Term-Maintenance
release that goes End-Of-Life when 3.12 is available. More details are on the
release schedule at https://www.gluster.org/community/release-schedule/ .
A call for testers of 3.12 Release Candidate 0 will be sent in a follow-up on
http://lists.gluster.org/pipermail/packaging/2017-August/000347.html once the
packages are sync'd to the buildlogs.centos.org server.
If you are interested in getting notifications for testing updates, please
subscribe to http://lists.gluster.org/mailman/listinfo/packaging and report
back on the mailinglist when any testing is done. After a "works for me" note,
packages will be marked for syncing to the CentOS mirrors and normally land
there over the next days.
I'll close this as EOL, because we won't push 3.11 to the mirrors. Do let me
know if something is not clear.
Thanks!
