Description of problem:
 If changelogs are not available for the requested time range, no proper error
message is displayed. It just fails. This takes considerable time in debugging
which is very easy to catch if proper log messages are available.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
To simplify..
1. Create master volume and write some data to it.
2. Create slave volume and setup geo-rep between them.


Actual results:
For the first time history should always fail as it will not have changelog.
It does fail but without error message.

Expected results:
It should log error and fail.
