Need some more info:

[1] On which platform are you working on (CentOS, RHEL)? For CentOS 7, I see
that the latest samba version is 4.1.12-21.el7_1
(http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/os/x86_64/Packages/).

[2] Have you installed glusterfs packages from download.gluster.org ?

[3] Can you please share the general workload/procedure followed which causes
the core dump so as to try reproducing the situation for better debugging of
the issue?
