Right now I'm unable to do any extensive test till october, sorry.

It seems weird that some bricks are totally unavailable. Have you enabled
insecure ports in glusterd and volume ?

I suppose that this rebalance test has nothing to do with the multiple parallel
reads you wrote at the beginning, right ?
