Wade, can you comment on the change (or not) of the checksum values? I think
you have looked into the changes of the algorithm? In case the checksum values
change, we need a (more complicated) coordinated approach for updating all
servers in the cluster. (The result of the checksum is sent to the clients for
comparing the different blocks of a replicated file on different bricks.)
